„Digi-Kids 2.0“ Kinderuni 2021 visiting the RIC and the BRP-Rotax apprentice shop

On Thursday, July 15th, 2021, 14 young people from the KinderUni Wels were guests at the RIC and the BRP-Rotax apprentice shop and were able to gain new experiences in moving an industrial robot, operating a 3D Printer and a laser printer directly in the TECVan.

Also the manual skills were demonstrated. Here the youngsters were allowed to build their own plane and of course take it home with them afterwards.

The KinderUni activities have been in Upper Austria since 2004 and take place in six different locations. The common motto of all events is: ask, research, want to know.

At KinderUni Upper Austria, the thirst for knowledge and the spirit of research are in the foreground. The young people take part in age-appropriate lectures, seminars, workshops or excursions and thereby become young researchers themselves. At the end of each KinderUni, the achievements are rewarded with a diploma at a final celebration - the graduation.
