FFG Competition for 6 to 14 year old children

The FFG funded project MOONWALK developing and testing technologies and training processes for astronauts and robots on future moon- and mars missions. Robots can assist the astronauts in many ways: In transportation and installation of equipment, by exploring difficult or dangerous places and in rescue operations. Technologies and processes for space are simulated on Earth in advance.

Children ages 6-14 can participate with their ideas on both simulations.

What to do:

  • For the moon simulation: Draw a completely new flag for the moon!

What to win:

A trip to the Simulation-Mission-Control-Centre in Brussels (along with one parent or authorized representative ): participation in the Broadcast from Rio Tinto and Marseille together with the Flight Director.
