First McRobo Lego WeDo 2.0 Workshop in the RIC
On the 16th of September, the DaVinci Academy (partner school in the project "McRobo") was our guest to be the first to visit the workshop "Lego WeDo 2.0 - Milo, the space probe"
Here, the students could once again prove what they have learned in the last two years in the project "McRobo". The McRobo project uses this joy of experimentation to introduce children and adolescents to the natural sciences and technology and playfully introduce them to the topics of robotics, digitization, virtual reality and the world of work in the 21st century.
The aim of the Mc Robo project is to discover and promote talent and to establish long-term contacts with schools / young people / parentsThe consortium of the project is formed by the consortium leader RIC and three strong business partners - BRP Rotax GmbH & Co KG, Otelo Open Technology Laboratory Vorchdorf and Wacker Neuson Linz GmbH - as experienced scientific partners are on board the Ars Electronica Center, the Johannes Kepler University ( Department Diversity & Gender Management) and the University of Applied Sciences Wels.
In addition, six educational institutions are actively involved: from elementary school through the New Middle School to higher education institutions.
